Conference Tours (please select). This is merely to gauge interest, it is not binding at this point.

• Thursday 3.30pm Militant Fremantle Heritage Walk with Dr Charlie Fox. The tour will comprise sites of radical and militant activity in Fremantle. No cost except train travel between Perth and Fremantle. After the walk, delegates may enjoy soaking up the ambience of a Fremantle evening on the waterfront with a fish and chip meal at Kailis Brothers.
• Friday 3.00pm Tour of the Hub for Immersive Visualisation and E-Research (HIVE) at Curtin University with Dr Andrew Woods. The HIVE's visualisation systems host a number of history projects, such as early to mid 20th century panoramic views of Perth and Fremantle, and a 3D reconstruction of HMAS Sydney and the German cruiser Kormoran, which sank in the Indian Ocean during World War II. Notes: 

1. Fee includes morning and afternoon tea and a conference pack with a pen, note pad, local information, and a programme containing abstracts of papers.
2. The Conference Committee aims to encourage unwaged, low income earners and students to attend the conference by setting fees in this category at a much lower rate than for waged and retired professionals.
