The cost will be: $58.50 per person per night (includes bedding but no meals).

To access on-campus accommodation, please fill in the ‘short-stay’ accommodation form and request Bendigo campus for the ASSLH Conference on the dates you require: https://www.latrobe.edu.au/accommodation/short-term-visits/enquiry-form

The accommodation is most likely to be in Orde House, which you can find out more about here: https://www.latrobe.edu.au/accommodation/locations/bendigo/orde-house

NOTE: This option is entirely self-catered (there is a supermarket about 15 minutes walk away).

Accommodation in Bendigo City:

The Brougham Arms is one of the closest places to stay to the university campus (2.5km). It would be a walk of approximately 30 minutes or a short drive: https://www.broughamarms.com.au/accommodation.cgi  It does have good pub food on site.

If you would like to stay in Bendigo city centre and use public transport to access the university campus, these motels are on the Bus 63 route and are a short walk to the La Trobe Art Institute:

If you are planning on using your car:

All Seasons Resort Hotel is not on a direct bus route to La Trobe University- however if you are travelling by car this will only be a 5 minute drive to campus/the city centre.

Quest Bendigo Central and Quality Hotel Lakeside are also not on direct bus routes but also only a 10 minute drive to La Trobe University or 5 minute drive to La Trobe Art Institute.
