Two talks will be presented via Zoom:

Vivien Miller (Professor of American History, University of Nottingham) will speak about differing approaches to prison labour and prison workers, highlighting articles in a forthcoming special issue of Labour History.

Jared Davidson (author and archivist, Wellington, NZ) will speak about prison labour in the making of New Zealand’s Pacific. It’s the topic of his contribution to our special issue and of his forthcoming book.
