At the next talk of the Sydney Branch on Tuesday, 20th September, Mr Rupert Lockwood will speak on the Petrov affair and events surrounding the 1954 Royal Commission. Members and friends of the Labour History Society are most welcome to attend. The film “Like a Summer Storm,” a documentary about Dr. H V Evatt, will be shown immediately prior to the talk. The venue will be Lecture Theatre 4, Merewether Building (Faculty of Economics), corner of City Road and Butlin Avenue, Sydney University. Screening of the film will commence at 6.30 pm and the talk will get underway soon after 8 pm. You. can’t afford to miss either. There’ll be a book raffle too!
