Ken Turner: Associate Professor of Governnment and Public Administration, Universityof Sydney.

Bede Nairn: Editor., Australian Dictionary of Biography; currently completing a bioqraphy of Jack Lang. Peter Hansen: Solicitor with a strong interest in Labor History.

David Clune: Librarian, N.S.W. Par1iamentary Library; currently enrolled parttime for a Doctorate on “Labor Governments in New South Wales during the period 1941-1965”,

Chris Cuneen: Deputy General Editor, Australian Dictionary of Biography; currently preparing a biography of McKell.

John McCarthy Barrister with a strong interest in Labor History.

Labour, Industry and Society Workshop

The aim of the workshop is to encourage the presentation and discussion of theory and research in the area of industrial sociology/political economy of industry and labour.

The workshop is open to staff, graduate students and other interested persons. It will be held between 3-5 p.m. in Seminar Room 2 of the Merewether Building at the University of Sydney.
